Happy 6-month Birthday to the Ethan x Lilly Litter! They are growing so fast!
It's hard to believe that the puppies are already six months old. Bellamy's Laser Rocket Arm, Peyton, celebrated his 6 month milestone with a win in Marshall, Michigan this weekend. He is being shown in the Bred-by-Exhibitor class and earned his first point under judge Mrs. Lesley Chalmers.
He is also becoming quite the swimmer. Every time we go to the pool, he watches Phoenix like a hawk. I think Peyton is jealous that Phoenix swims and retrieves a ball. In the past two weeks, Peyton has started to jump in and retrieve!

Update!
I know, it has been a while. We have a lot of updates!
UPDATE 1:
The first update is that I am pregnant! Yes, the above photo is a human and not a pup! That is one of the reasons that things have not been updated in a while (I apologize!). Between the puppy party, all of the puppies leaving for their forever homes, the First Trismester of my pregnancy, and work, things have not been getting accomplished! I know, stop making excuses and just do it, right? A special thanks to Jeff for all of his hard work and dealing with all of the emotions I was going through when the puppies were 7-9 weeks old.
For the last two weeks I have felt great and have been playing catch-up with cleaning, laundry, e-mails, photos, and getting my life back in order! If you are expecting a response to something, I promise I will get to you!

UPDATE 2:
The second update is that puppy evaluations went very well! We had a wonderful litter!! The puppies had a lot of fun during their evaluations and were exhausted on the way home. A special thanks to Teresa Evans for letting us use her facilities. Also thanks to Connie Morris, Allyson Chaney, Patty Prather, and a few other members of the Weimaraner Club of Greater Louisville that helped us out.

UPDATE 3:
The puppy party also went really well. A special thanks to Brad, Marissa, Paul & Darlene Goedeker for helping us prepare the house and pick up the food. Another special thanks to Sharon Manning, Carol Easterly and Sam Easterly for helping us get the pups ready for their new homes! They also were there to offer advice and help make the new owners feel comfortable before they left.
You can check out more photos from the puppy party at Litters: Ethan x Lilly Litter: Week Eight.

UPDATE 4:
And the final update is about the dog we kept, Mr. Red. Mr. Red is now known as "Bellamy's Laser Rocket Arm", Peyton. Of course I bet you can guess who named him! This litter theme was "Sports Heros". The pups are now 18 weeks old and growing like weeds!
This weekend was Peyton's first show. It was a puppy match because he can't actually compete until he is six months of age, but he did well in the ring. We need to work on standing still when a judge walks up to him because he always wants to jump up and lick them in the face! He's a wiggly butt. Peyton received a Group 2 placement losing only to a 9 month old, well trained Golden who could free stack. Poor Peyton is only 4 1/2 months old! The judge did tell Jeff he couldn't believe how well Peyton behaved for such a young dog and told him what a nice Weim we had! We will keep working with him and look forward to July when he can actually compete.

Five Weeks Old!
The puppies are turning into big puppies who like to test their running skills, but are very uncoordinated. Sometimes they look like rabbits hopping around. So far today we have had two pups get going really fast, lose control and wipe out in the water bowl. It is the funniest thing ever to see their faces after the accident because they have no idea what just happened and why they are covered in water. The puppies are getting use to all sorts of household noises, the sweeper, the blender, the dishwasher, pots and pans clanging, the washing machine, etc. Everyone has a lot of confidence and carries their tails up, which is a great sign. I just posted the Five Week Portraits, I hope you all enjoy them!

Three Weeks Old!
The time is flying by. The little puppies are three weeks old! We will start weaning them off of Lilly tonight and begin their "mush" food stage. Most of them are getting pretty good at walking around. They are all becoming aware of their surroundings and we keep changing toys in the whelping box to keep them interested. Below are a few of the pictures I have taken in the past few days. We will take their "Three Week" portraits tonight and post them on Sunday. I will also post pictures of their first meal!

The Puppies are almost 2 weeks old!
We can't believe that the babies will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. They are growing so fast! It seems like just yesterday we were waiting for Lilly to have them.
They are all doing very well and gaining weight every day. Half of them are opening their eyes and trying to walk. They are all starting to become very noisy and wanting to eat all of the time! Lilly is also doing very well. Jeff and Nikki will be happy to finally get some sleep next week!
Below are some photos we have taken in the past couple of days. Their "Two Week" photographs will be taken tomorrow and posted to the website on Saturday. Thanks for all of the wonderful emails we have been receiving!
I realized I waited too long to take a photo of a baby in a basket! I am going to have to go buy a bigger basket!
